We have a terrific opportunity for a talented merchant to be part of our dynamic team of buyers. Our ideal candidate will have previous retail buying experience with a specialty store, chain store or department store.
- Planning sales and inventory and achievement of the planned results
- Development of the seasonal assortment plan and monitoring results
- Achievement of sales and inventory targets by location including daily stock replenishment
- Feedback to design and product development on product needs and trends
- Leader and “cheerleader” for the category to the stores organization
Job Experience:
- Talented merchant with a strong background in planning and maintaining assortments
- 3 – 5 years of previous retail buying experience with a specialty store, chain or department store is preferred
- Excellent computer skills with the ability to maximize our sophisticated replenishment and ordering system
- Savvy thinker, trend aware
- Incredible team player
