SVP Marketing, CMO - TNS Media Tracking Code 1609 Job Description TNS Media, a global market information and insight provider, is searching for a Chief Marketing Officer for its US Operations. This is an exciting opportunity for a tenured marketing professional with demonstrated knowledge of product development and strategy, marketing communications, public relations. The position reports into the CEO and will need to be able to work independently and take the initiative to forge new paths. This US Group has responsibility for 4 business units: TNS Media Intelligence, the leading provider of strategic advertising and marketing information, provides tracking technologies to collect advertising expenditure, occurrence and creative data, and marketing analytics platforms. TNS Media Research, a worldwide provider of Internet, TV, set-top box and radio audience measurement leveraging the latest technology in digital audience monitoring. Cymfony, a brand monitoring and analytics company sifts and interprets the millions of voices at the intersection of traditional and social media to gain insights that help organizations understand people, issues and trends impacting their business. Compete, a leading digital intelligence company which helps global brands to improve their marketing based on the online behavior of millions of consumers. This position will initiate and oversee the development and establishment of integrated and corporate brand marketing programs for a dynamic, growing worldwide media research company in marketing information and monitors 3 million brands worldwide across a multitude of media, including TV, radio, print, the Internet, cinema and outdoor. Our goal is to maximize industry and consumer mindshare of business by identifying and executing cross-divisional and corporate identity strategies. Develop and manage centralized research, promotional, creative and resource center for multi-unit business. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following: Develop and execute company's strategy for building, managing, and measuring the effectiveness of the company's brand positioning. Understand customers’ buying preferences and promote the delivery of products and services that are more relevant to customer needs, and to develop closer channel relationships. Increase marketing productivity to help business unit leaders grow top-line revenues. Ensure all marketing communications messaging and print collateral is consistent with established branding goals and manage corporate & product marketing collateral including corporate brochures and promotional communications. Responsible for overseeing corporate events planning efforts. Manages the corporate communications budget to meet departmental goals, ensure expenditures do not exceed budget guidelines and estimates, and demonstrate value (ROI). Drive all public relations and marketing communications strategy and tactics. Required Skills Bachelor degree required, masters preferred. Extensive experience in marketing several successful mid-size organizations. Solid understanding of marketing and business processes, as well as the competitive landscape. Must demonstrate both creativity and strong analytical skills in an ever-changing environment. Ability to coach and develop senior leaders. Exceptional interpersonal, presentation, oral/written communication skills required. At least five years senior level corporate marketing experience with a consulting firm. Experience in marketing a growing services organization. Proven record of accomplishment for running an effective and efficient organization.
