Job Description Catering Sales Manager
Location: Berkeley- Hotel Durant
# of openings: 1
Description
The position is responsible for executing all aspects of Meetings Business of the Hotel. All aspects include, but are not limited to: the sales of meeting rooms, food and beverage, meeting room rental, and other miscellaneous client needs, planning and execution of all meetings, from initial contact to final payment.
Qualifications/Skills:
Requirements are representative of minimum levels of knowledge, skills and /or abilities. To perform this job successfully, the employee will possess the abilities or aptitudes to perform each duty proficiently.
Essential:
1. Ability to satisfactorily communicate in English with guests, management, co workers and vendors.
2. Ability to provide legible communication.
3. Must possess intermediate computer skills.
4. Ability to perform assigned duties with attention to detail, speed, accuracy, follow through, courtesy, cooperativeness and work independently.
5. Previous Event Management experience
