This position will support Financial Services Sector. This position has the overall responsibility for financial management of the business to include analysis and reporting of business, insight into projected results, accuracy and integrity of financial statements, budgeting and forecasting, identify areas for improvement, maximization of profitability, review and integration of acquisitions. This position can be located in any major TNS office.
Required Skills
Partner with Sector/Segment Head(s) to achieve and maximize profitability and cash generation of business unit.
Analyze financial results and explain key findings and variances to senior management.
Coordination of monthly close with Client Financial Management, including revenue delivery and direct cost accruals.
Create and maintain detailed forecasts for revenue, costs and profit at the sector, segment, client and AE level.
Lead monthly business review meetings.
Report regularly on key metrics necessary to analyze and improve business performance (utilization, contribution, project profitability etc.).
Conduct periodic reviews of labor utilization to ensure full absorption of labor costs.
Assist Client Financial Management with month and year end close process.
Review project-level financial reports to ensure accuracy of project classifications.
Overall responsibility for budgeting, forecasting, and business plans.
Review pricing and assist in solutions where pricing constraints exist.
Improve profitability through increased staff utilization, reduction of direct cost overruns, maintaining staff mix in alignment with estimates, addendums to estimates for scope changes, and on-time billing and collections.
Administer targets and key financial data for variable compensation plans.
Calculate year-end financial results for the variable compensation plans.
Assist in negotiation of contracts.
Coordinate efforts on audits with Controller.
Financial analysis of acquisitions and integration in to business unit.
Lead staff (e.g., training, coaching, performance reviews, etc).
Assist with special projects as assigned
Required Experience
Bachelors in Finance or Accounting
5 plus years in corporate/operational finance
Strong background in finance and business planning
Advanced Microsoft Office
Excellent written and oral communications
MBA preferred
CPA preferred
