Job Description We are seeking a Special Markets Account Director who will be responsible for generating and monitoring bulk revenue, sales & marketing activities, administration, financial analyses and customer service for Affiliate accounts across multiple distribution platforms, and Key Account responsibility when applicable. Distribution platforms include Cable, SMATV, DBS, and Telco. Responsibilities to encompass SNI Bulk business segments including, but not limited to: lodging, healthcare, multiple dwelling units, third party distributors, hotel chain and management companies, and universities.
Required Skills/Experience
·Cultivate in-depth understanding of SNI product and policies and communicate appropriate information directly to Affiliate. Ability to act independently to overcome objections during sales negotiations
·Proactive and capable of clearly communicating sales and analytical information to Affiliate during meetings and/or presentations. Able to re-adjust presentation immediately if situation dictates
·Ability to independently negotiate contracts.
·Mastered technical aspects of the Area Manager position (sales, marketing, analytical expertise)
·Proven leadership abilities
·Strong presentation and communication skills, both written and oral. Strong sales/marketing, analytical, and persuasive skills.
·Proficient in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
·Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks in a high-pressure and rapidly changing environment
·Self-motivated with excellent follow-through skills
·Excellent interpersonal and active listening skills
·Ability to travel 50% - 60% of time
·3 -5 years sales/marketing experience
·Knowledge of finance and accounting
·Ability to impact sales while managing multiple affiliates, projects, across various business segments simultaneously oftentime going after the same end user account.
Preferred Skills/Experience
·Undergraduate degree in Marketing, Business or related field preferred
·MBA preferred
